What if she gave up on her condition, and asked him to leave her? She loves him so deeply, deep enough that she couldn't bear the pain of seeing him worry whenever she was at her weakest.

“Are you ready for another mission?”

She turns her head to see her best friend, Tara, asking her before their departure to No Hunt Zone No.7 for today's mission. She lets out a sigh, “I'm ready.”

Being born with a heart disease isn't easy at all for her. She used to be so weak, she couldn't even do much in everything she did. But, the catastrophe 14 years ago was like a turning point of her life. That was the first time the city being attacked by wanderers. It caused damage everywhere, many victims were injured and some could not even be saved. It was like the darkest nightmare for everyone.

That was the first time she saw a hunter fought the wanderers and saved the city. Since then, she secretly promised to become stronger so she could protect more people. It wasn't easy, of course, it was even harder because she often collapsed in the process. But fortunately, she has someone by her side that always be there for her. The one who always looks over her when she's at her weakest. Zayne, or sometimes she called him Doctor Zayne.

“We're going to be so busy today, so prepare yourself.” Tara gave her reminder, “Don't push yourself too hard.”

They've been so busy fighting wanderers a whole day. Some of the team were exhausted, one by one called for a back up as they couldn't keep going. So did she. She was exhausted, but tried to keep going. Once in a while she'll take a rest to catch her breath, but there's no stop in her dictionary.

At the other side of the city, a man that also known as the chief cardiac surgeon at Akso Hospital is busy treating his patients. Today is not as busy as the other days, but still, he has lots to do. He just finished his third surgery for today, and it's time for him to take a break and enjoy his lunch. He checked his phone while feeding himself a macaroon as a treat for his hard work. He scrolled his phone screen, checking every application there, like he's waiting for something.

In fact, he is waiting for her message. They haven't exchange word since this morning. It's not the first time, but it annoyed him as they haven't meet each other for a week now. Both of them are just too busy and can't make up their schedules. It's something they always try to fix in their relationship. But as time passed by, it seems that they're just going with the flow.
